This piece might as well be officially labeled propaganda.
First, the Litter:
From the article “Muslims still look for acceptance”:
“It’s sort of like a booster shot for your faith,” said Rob Engel, a Downtown resident who converted to Islam three years ago.Yes, Rob and Meredith, Ramadan is like a booster for your faith. And in many other countries like Pakistan, India, Somalia, Yemen, and Germany, that “booster” sometimes leads to boosting explosives around infidels and they places they hang out. Many Muslims seeking martyrdom in their faith have talked of the energizing feeling of plotting to send oneself (and hopefully many kufr) to meet their Allah.
John Kashubeck, who attends the Islamic Center, told the crowd that being Muslim and being American are compatible identities.Hey Meredith, how about asking John to explain that statement instead of just taking it at face value?
I wonder which one of the four major schools of Islamic Jurisprudence he is citing as his justification for this belief.
I doubt that it is any of the of the 4 major schools (but I could be wrong — as I am not an Islamic scholar) that are being taught by Ustadh Abul-Hasan Armiya (Jeremiah) Campion, the “Shaykh” in charge of the dar al Nur Madrassa that is being sponsored by and occasionally holds classes inside the Noor Islamic Cultural Center (see above link and click around).
Not that starting a madrassa is in and of itself wrong, improper, or illegal, (in fact, in the PC mess that the US is in, we strongly encourage and sometimes even fund groups to teach things contrary to our Constitution), but it does fit quite nicely into the framework of the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Project” and the Brotherhoods’ overall plan to use the “Islamic Center” as the hub of networking, dawah, and conerstone for total dominance.
The Muslim Brotherhood, as previously mentioned, is the same organization that produced a phone book that is Federal evidence in the Holy Land Foundation (the are alleged to have been raising money for the HAMAS, which is also an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood) trial in Houston, TX — that contains the name Hany Sakr (and other variants of Saqr) — as well as a now defunct telephone number to the Ohio State University (Hany’s former employer).
Now for the Rubbish:
“The ideals in the preamble to the Constitution, such as justice and domestic tranquility, are all found in the Quran,” he (Kashulbeck) said. That sounds really nice John and Meredith. Where are John’s quotes from the Qur’an and Hadith to back up that warm, fuzzy statement?
In the Qur’an and Hadith Meredith, justice is found only under the application of Allah’s law — Shari’a and can only be effectively and truly applied by an Islamic government; not one founded and run by Infidels.
And “domestic tranquility”? Please show me more than ONE “ISLAMIC STATE” that is at peace with itself?
Oh Meredith, did John mention that ISLAM means peace? I’m sure he must have.
Did he clarify that peace can only be achieved by submission to Allah and his will? Or did he mention that as an unbeliever in a peaceful Islamic state you get but 3 options: Convert, Submit to Dhimmitude (a lesser — subdued human — who incidentally has to pay jizya (a tax or ransom) to be allowed to live, or be Killed.
I can just feel the love. Can’t you?
And you must have overlooked the domestic tranquility provided by not being able to worship your god with your spouse by your side (ref. separate prayer areas in Noor Mosque) — let alone the fact that one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood (and frequent Columbus visitor) Jamal Badawi, advocates for the right of men to assault or ‘lightly beat’ their wives for disobedience.
Any of that sound “tranquil” to you Meredith?
He (Kashubeck) talked about anti-Muslim prejudice, citing the recent distribution of the DVD Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West, which Muslims have denounced as spreading fear about all Muslims.”Did John also mention that current and former Muslims are involved in Clarion projects as well, or that many Muslims believe that Obsession does, in fact accurately portray a segment of the ‘radical fundamentalists’ within Islam?
The movie, produced by the nonprofit Clarion Fund, shows images of terrorist attacks and training camps.Wow! That statement didn’t even pass my spell checker for qualification as a viable sentence.
Guess what Meredith, if you turn on anything but Keith Olbermann, you will probably see very similar images on the evening news — even during Ramadan!
Meredith, did you ask John, or Hany Saqr for that matter, why the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was a close advisor of Adolf Hitler’s during World War II — or ask for an opinion as to why the most feared and savage SS units were made up almost entirely of Muslims trained to annihilate the Jews? Those would have been good questions that might have led to an interesting article, not a pile of propaganda.
Meredith, did you watch the movie? Meredith, do you watch life?
It’s all OK, Columbus Dispatch, Hany likes you again. He recommended this article to his friends.
I guess after all, there is peace in SUBMISSION.
NOT A CHANCE!
